Huawei tidak hanya terkenal akan produk modem dan ponselnya saja. Setelah sempat merilis Huawei Ideos S7 yang sudah meramaikan pasar Tablet PC di Indonesia, kini Huawei merilis tablet terbaru yaitu Huawei MediaPad.
[tab:Huawei MediaPad]Yang membuatnya menarik adalah, dengan merilis Tablet PC ini membuat Huawei tercatat sebagai produsen pertama di dunia yang menghadirkan OS Android 3.2 Honeycomb pada tablet berukuran 7-inci.
Pada Tablet PC ini disematkan prosesor Qualcomm dual-core 1.2GHz dengan dukungan layar sentuh IPS kapasitif berukuran 7-inci dan kapasitas ruang penyimpanan sebesar 8GB.
Huawei MediaPad juga dilengkapi dengan fitur GPS, kamera depan sebesar 1.3 megapixel, kamera belakang sebesar 5-megapixel, slot microSD, dukungan Flash 10.3 dan dapat memutar konten video Full HD 1080p.
Dalam hal konektivitas, tablet ini didukung dengan koneksi Wi-Fi, HSPA+, Bluetooth dan output HDMI. Tidak lupa juga sebagai sebuah Tablet PC untuk kebutuhan multimedia, Huawei membekali MediaPad dengan baterai yang dapat digunakan hingga 6 jam.
Belum ada kabar resmi, mengenai harga dan kapan ketersediannya di pasaran. Namun sepertinya Tablet PC ini akan dapat kita jumpai di akhir tahun 2011.
